Year in Review - 2010

This year, I did a great deal of non-fiction reading. I've been doing quite a bit of reading in psychology and philosophy, and have an interest in possibly applying to a graduate program in clinical psychology, with a focus on alternative lifestyle family therapy. Many of the books on this list were challenging to my understanding of how "normal" human beings relate; I grew up with a certain brand of socialization, and I have done a great amount of work this year to open my mind to be compassionate and understanding of the entire spectrum of possibility in human relationships. Some of these are art books, but I'm put them on here anyway, because I consider them to be "reading" of a different sort, but still reading. I just barely managed to achieve my annual goal of reading one book per week, despite buying a house and moving this year.
